Basler Launches New CXP-12 Line Scan Cameras for High-Performance Vision Applications in Battery Production and Beyond

Basler introduces new CXP-12 line scan cameras with resolutions of 8k and 16k. These cameras, called racer 2 L, are the first in Basler's new line scan camera series and feature Gpixel sensors and a CXP-12 interface. Basler also provides essential components like lighting and lenses for a complete line scan vision system, enabling the implementation of advanced applications like quality assurance in battery production.

Basler AG is introducing a new monochrome version of its line scan camera called Basler racer 2 L, which comes with a CXP-12 interface at a great price/performance ratio. This camera uses advanced Gpixel sensors to offer resolutions of 8k or 16k, with line rates reaching up to 200 kHz. By utilizing Basler frame grabbers and VisualApplets software for FPGA programming, users can reduce CPU load during image processing. Basler also provides all necessary components for a complete CXP-12 line scan image processing system, including lighting, lenses, cables, and cooling solutions. This comprehensive range ensures easy integration and high compatibility at a cost-effective price, making it ideal for various high-performance image processing applications.
