Basler Introduces New CXP-12 Line Scan Cameras with 8k and 16k Resolution for High-End Vision Applications
Basler has introduced new line scan cameras with resolutions of 8k and 16k, known as the racer 2 L series. These cameras are the first in Basler's new line scan camera lineup and come with Gpixel sensors and a CXP-12 interface. Basler also provides other essential components for a line scan vision system, such as lighting and lenses, allowing for the implementation of advanced applications like quality assurance in battery production.
Basler AG is expanding its line scan camera offerings with the new Basler racer 2 L, which comes in a monochrome version and features a CXP-12 interface at a great price/performance ratio. Equipped with advanced Gpixel sensors, this camera can achieve resolutions of 8k or 16k and has line rates of up to 200 kHz. By using Basler frame grabbers and VisualApplets software for FPGA programming, users can reduce CPU load in their applications through pre-processing. Basler also provides all necessary components for a CXP-12 line scan image processing system, such as lighting, lenses, cables, and cooling solutions, making integration easier and more cost-effective for high-performance image processing applications.
Intended use: line scan cameras designed for examining batteries.
The battery production industry is expanding quickly. It is important to have a high-quality layer surrounding the battery electrodes for the battery to work efficiently. To detect even the smallest defects on the electrodes during production, a powerful camera with high accuracy and line frequency is needed. Basler's racer 2 L line scan cameras meet these criteria, allowing for effective and quick detection of faults in the production process.
These cameras are commonly used in various industries such as electronics for purposes like inspecting wafers and PCBs, in logistics for scanning barcodes, in print industry for web inspection, and in rail industry for inspection purposes.
