Basler Unveils New CXP-12 Line Scan Cameras for High-End Vision Applications, Including Battery Production Quality Assurance

Basler has introduced new line scan cameras, the racer 2 L 8k and 16k models, which are the first in their new line scan camera series. These cameras come with high-resolution Gpixel sensors and a CXP-12 interface. Along with the cameras, Basler also provides essential components for a line scan vision system, like lighting and lenses, enabling the implementation of advanced applications such as quality assurance in battery production.

Basler AG is expanding its line scan camera offerings with the introduction of the new Basler racer 2 L, which is a monochrome version featuring a CXP-12 interface at a great price/performance ratio. This camera utilizes advanced Gpixel sensors to provide resolutions of 8k or 16k and line rates of up to 200 kHz. By utilizing Basler frame grabbers and VisualApplets software for FPGA programming, users can benefit from a pre-processing solution that reduces the CPU workload in their applications. Basler also offers all necessary components for a CXP-12 line scan image processing system, including lighting, lenses, cables, and cooling solutions, making integration simple and cost-effective.
