Basler Unveils New CXP-12 Line Scan Cameras with 8k and 16k Resolution for High-End Vision Applications, Including Battery Production
Basler introduces new line scan cameras with 8k and 16k resolution, known as the racer 2 L models. These cameras are part of Basler's latest line scan camera series and feature Gpixel sensors and a CXP-12 interface. Basler also offers essential components for a line scan vision system, like lighting and lenses, to support high-quality applications such as quality control in battery manufacturing.
Basler AG has added a new monochrome version of its line scan camera, the Basler racer 2 L, to its product lineup. This camera features a CXP-12 interface and uses advanced Gpixel sensors to provide resolutions of 8k or 16k with line rates of up to 200 kHz. By using Basler frame grabbers and VisualApplets software for FPGA programming, users can reduce the CPU load in their applications through pre-processing solutions. Basler also offers all other necessary components for a CXP-12 line scan image processing system, such as lighting, lenses, cables, and cooling solutions. This comprehensive range of products allows for easy integration and high compatibility at a cost-effective price, making it a valuable option for various high-performance image processing applications.
Intended use: line scan cameras designed for inspecting batteries.
The market for battery production is expanding quickly. It is crucial to maintain high quality in the layer that covers the battery electrodes to ensure the battery functions optimally. To detect even the smallest defects on the electrodes during production, a powerful camera with high accuracy and line frequency is needed. Basler's racer 2 L line scan cameras meet these requirements, allowing for effective and speedy detection of faults.
These cameras are commonly used in various industries such as electronics (for inspecting wafers and PCBs), logistics (for capturing barcodes), web inspection (such as print quality control), and rail inspection.
