EMITE and Rohde & Schwarz Collaborate to Enhance OTA Measurements for Wi-Fi 7 and 5G RedCap Technology
EMITE and Rohde & Schwarz are working together to improve EMITE's OTA measurement solutions by incorporating the advanced test features of the R&S CMX500 multi-technology, multi-channel signaling tester. This integration allows for support of LTE, FR1, FR2, IEEE 802.11be WLAN standard, and 5G RedCap.
EMITE has advanced over-the-air chambers that can now be paired with the latest testing capabilities of the R&S CMX500 signaling tester from Rohde & Schwarz. This radio communication tester can test a variety of devices, supporting cellular technologies like LTE, 5G NR in both the FR1 frequency range up to 8 GHz and the FR2 millimeter wave frequency range up to 50 GHz, including the latest 5G RedCap technology. It also has the ability to test non-cellular technologies like Wi-Fi 7, all within one instrument. This collaboration provides EMITE's customers with a complete setup for accurately evaluating the performance of Wi-Fi 7 and 5G Red Cap devices.
