PicoShot NC-6M: A Breakthrough in Jetting Solder Paste Technology

Indium Corporation has released a new type of jetting solder paste called PicoShot NC-6M as part of their PicoShot product line. This solder paste is no-clean, halogen-free, and made in a Type 6 powder size. It is designed to work well with Mycronic jetting systems and their "small dot" ejector.

PicoShot NC-6M was created in partnership with Mycronic and has been tested by customers to show its superior performance and benefits compared to other materials. This solder paste is designed to work well with Indium Corporation's Indium8.9HF Series.

After thorough testing, the PicoShot NC-6M has proven to offer outstanding fine-dot jetting capabilities compared to other products in its category.

Indium Corporation's Senior Product Specialist, Evan Griffith, expressed great pride in launching the PicoShot NC-6M to the market. This product is praised for its outstanding jetting performance and special oxidation barrier that helps ensure a thorough powder coalescence during reflow, preventing issues like graping. Additionally, it offers excellent electrical reliability that exceeds IPC standards for SIR and ECM.

By using a Type 6 solder powder and a SAC305 alloy, this material is naturally compatible with Indium Corporation's Indium8.9HF Series Solder Pastes. The PicoShot NC-6M has a special oxidation barrier that helps the powder merge completely during reflow, preventing graping and other reflow problems.

Mycronic is introducing a new product called PicoShot NC-6M to their lineup, which includes Type 5 powder in both no-clean and water-wash formulas. They are also working on developing more innovations to add to their PicoShot product range.
