Vandewiele has chosen to upgrade their current system with a new MES solution from Critical Manufacturing, as part of their transition towards Industry 4.0. The new MES system will be implemented across various production areas such as sheet metal, profile cutting, sawing, milling, machining, FMS, and assembly. This decision to adopt a more advanced system showcases Vandewiele's dedication to remaining at the forefront of technology and improving efficiency in their shop floor operations.

Vandewiele selected Critical Manufacturing after a thorough assessment. With a diverse production environment, they needed a solution that could smoothly operate across all their divisions. As per the current agreement, Vandewiele will utilize key features of Critical Manufacturing MES such as dashboards and BI cards to monitor real-time performance and analyze data for better decision-making. They will also incorporate features for material and container management to improve inventory control, track resources for efficient allocation, and manage routing and dispatching for more streamlined workflows. Additionally, they will utilize advanced MES tools like layout and printing for customized production, as well as alarm management, modern scheduling, and maintenance management modules to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
