Maximizing Test and Fault Coverage with Interactive Tests: Acculogic’s FLS 980Dxi Flying Probe Tester Integrated with GOEPEL Electronic’s Embedded JTAG Solutions
Enhance test and error coverage by utilizing interactive tests. A new set of features has been incorporated into the integration package that includes the FLS 980Dxi flying probe tester from Acculogic and Embedded JTAG Solutions from GOEPEL electronic.
Interactive tests are now more valuable with the automatic generation feature, as measurements from movable probes on the FLS 980Dxi flying probe tester are incorporated into Boundary Scan tests. The SYSTEM CASCON software platform smoothly incorporates the use of Acculogic test system probes and can create extra test patterns with these external access points.
The specialized test method called "Interactive ATE" is utilized to quickly configure tests by intelligently selecting which nets to include or exclude. This helps to improve transparency, test coverage, and test thoroughness. The tests are conducted using the FLS 980Dxi flying probe tester software, ensuring that the operator can continue using the familiar user interface.
During the hardware component selection process, the focus was on choosing components with compatible interfaces that meet industry standards. The integration package incorporates the SCANFLEX II CUBE, the latest modular JTAG/Boundary Scan controllers, and an I/O module attached to the controller. Standard connectors make it simple to connect to the hardware interface of the Acculogic flying prober. This setup can also be easily incorporated into current systems.
