Pickering Electronics Unveils New High-Power Reed Relays at electronica China 2024: Visit Booth #E7-7838 in Shanghai on July 8th-10th

Pickering Electronics will be showcasing their latest high power reed relays at electronica China 2024. You can find them at booth #E7-7838 in Shanghai from July 8th to 10th, 2024.

Pickering Electronics, a top producer of high-performance reed relays, will be displaying their wide selection of reed relays designed for advanced instrumentation, ATE, and semiconductor testing at booth #E7-7838 at electronica China 2024. The exhibit will include their newest high-power reed relays, Series 144. This event is part of Messe München's electronica series, which also features shows in Munich and India, and will be held from July 8th to 10th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China.

The electronica China trade fair is the top event in China for showcasing new electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. Since its establishment in 2002, the exhibition has drawn in approximately 50,000 attendees and connected them with over 1,100 exhibitors in a 60,000 square meter space. electronica China includes high-quality forums and support programs that showcase the most recent market trends and technologies. With a total of over 5,800 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors across electronica's global exhibition network in Munich, China, and India, there are ample opportunities for businesses to thrive.

Robert King, Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, mentioned that they expect to see interest in their reed relay products at electronica China from various industries and applications such as mixed-signal semiconductor testing, signal switching in medical devices, electric vehicle charging, monitoring solar cells, and high voltage instrumentation. Pickering is continuously improving its reed relay offerings for instrumentation and automated test equipment.

Pickering's Series 144 reed relays are designed specifically for testing mixed signal semiconductors. Unlike traditional dry SIL reed relays, the Series 144 relays can handle higher power levels. While standard dry relays are typically rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, the Series 144 relays can switch currents of up to 2 Amps, delivering power of up to 60 Watts or 1 Amp for up to 80 Watts, with a continuous carry current of up to 3 Amps. These relays also have high-voltage capabilities, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and up to 3kV stand-off. The Series 144 is Pickering's smallest miniature SIP reed relay with a power rating of up to 80 Watts. It offers both high-power switching and exceptional low-level performance, making it a great option for applications requiring both capabilities. Additionally, it can be a suitable alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to its low-level performance and high isolation advantages.

Pickering offers a wide selection of high-quality reed relays that are suitable for a variety of uses such as testing semiconductor devices, in-circuit testing, cable testing, backplane testing, electric vehicles, medical devices, solar energy applications, research in physics, and high voltage measuring instruments.

Pickering Group will be exhibiting at electronica China 2024, where they will present their modular signal switching and sensor simulation technologies for electronic testing and verification. These technologies come from Pickering Interfaces, their switching and simulation division, and they will also be showcasing cables and connectors from their interconnect division, Pickering Connect.
