The exhibit will include their newest high-power reed relays, Series 144. Pickering's Series 144 reed relays are designed specifically for testing mixed signal semiconductors. Unlike traditional dry SIL reed relays, the Series 144 relays can handle higher power levels. While standard dry relays are typically rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, the Series 144 relays can switch currents of up to 2 Amps, delivering power of up to 60 Watts or 1 Amp for up to 80 Watts, with a continuous carry current of up to 3 Amps. These relays also have high-voltage capabilities, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and up to 3kV stand-off. The Series 144 is Pickering's smallest miniature SIP reed relay with a power rating of up to 80 Watts. It offers both high-power switching and exceptional low-level performance, making it a great option for applications requiring both capabilities. Additionally, it can be a suitable alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to its low-level performance and high isolation advantages.
