Pickering Electronics Unveils New High-Power Reed Relays at electronica China 2024 – Visit Booth #E7-7838!
Pickering Electronics will be showcasing their latest high power reed relays at electronica China 2024. Make sure to stop by booth #E7-7838 in Shanghai from July 8th-10th, 2024 to see them in person.
Pickering Electronics, a top producer of high-performance reed relays, will be displaying their wide selection of reed relays designed for advanced instrumentation, ATE, and semiconductor testing at booth #E7-7838 at electronica China 2024. This event is part of the electronica series organized by Messe München, which also includes events in Munich and India, and will be held from July 8th-10th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China. Be sure to check out their latest high-power reed relays, Series 144.
electronica China is a popular trade show in China focused on showcasing cutting-edge electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. Since its establishment in 2002, the event has drawn approximately 50,000 attendees and has connected them with more than 1,100 exhibitors within a 60,000 square meter exhibition space. In addition to the exhibition, electronica China offers high-quality forums and supporting programs that highlight the latest market trends and technologies. The global electronica exhibition network, including events in Munich, China, and India, has brought together over 5,800 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors, creating numerous business opportunities for participants.
Robert King, the Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, mentioned that they expect to see interest in their reed relay products for instrumentation and ATE at the electronica China event. This interest is anticipated from various industries and uses, such as mixed-signal semiconductor testing, signal switching in medical devices, electric vehicle charging, monitoring solar cells, and high voltage instrumentation.
Pickering's Series 144 reed relays are specifically designed for testing mixed signal semiconductors. Unlike traditional dry SIL reed relays, these relays have a much higher power capacity. While standard dry relays are typically rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, the Series 144 relays can handle up to 2 Amps of switching current, enabling power delivery of up to 60 Watts or 1 Amp for up to 80 Watts, with a continuous carry current of up to 3 Amps. These relays also have high-voltage capabilities, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and up to 3kV stand-off. Despite their high power capacity, Series 144 relays are the smallest miniature SIP reed relays offered by Pickering, with a power rating of up to 80 Watts. They are able to effectively switch high power while still maintaining exceptional low-level performance, making them a great choice for applications requiring both high-power and low-level switching capabilities. Additionally, these relays can be a good alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to their superior low-level performance and high isolation advantages.
Pickering offers a wide selection of high-quality reed relays that are suitable for a variety of uses such as mixed-signal semiconductor testing, in-circuit testing, cable testing, backplane testing, electric vehicles, medical devices, solar power systems, scientific research, and high voltage measurement tools.
