During SAP Sapphire Barcelona, Ross McGuire, Senior Director of SAP Cloud Transformation at Radisson Hotel Group, and James Appleby, Chairman of Avantra, discussed Radisson's significant shift towards automation with Avantra. When Ross started working at Radisson, he encountered operational difficulties such as expensive system downtime, which was exacerbated by misconfigurations and reactive maintenance.
Ross McGuire stated that Radisson Hotel Group has implemented a new plan that has moved the company from manual processes to more advanced automation. By using the Avantra AIOps platform, Radisson has undergone a significant operational transformation, leading to increased efficiency. This change has resulted in annual savings of over €400K for Radisson and has sparked a major re-engineering program for the company's SAP landscape.
Avantra's AIOps platform played a key role in changing the way management is approached, allowing for continuous monitoring of 57 SAP systems and 150 servers in real-time. This change helped to stabilize operations, increase automation, and improve management efficiency, leading to substantial cost savings each year.
During the Sapphire events, Avantra showcased their expertise in using automation and AI to improve SAP environments. In their presentations, Avantra focused on the benefits of RISE with SAP in streamlining cloud migration and boosting innovation and scalability for clients.
