Pickering Electronics to Unveil New High-Power Reed Relays at electronica China 2024: Visit Booth #E7-7838 for the Latest Innovations
Check out the latest high-power reed relays from Pickering Electronics at the electronica China 2024 exhibition. Come visit Pickering Electronics at booth #E7-7838 during the event in Shanghai from July 8th to 10th, 2024.
Pickering Electronics, a top producer of high-performance reed relays, will be displaying their wide selection of reed relays designed for high-end instrumentation, ATE, and semiconductor testing at booth #E7-7838 during electronica China 2024. This event, part of Messe München's electronica series, will take place from July 8th to 10th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. One of the highlights of their showcase will be the Series 144 high-power reed relays.
electronica China is the top trade fair in China for new electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. It was established in 2002 and brings together about 50,000 visitors with over 1,100 exhibitors in a 60,000 square meter exhibition area. The event also includes high-quality forums and programs that showcase the most recent market trends and technologies. With a total of 5,800 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors participating in electronica's global exhibition network in Munich, China, and India, there are plenty of opportunities for businesses to connect and grow.
Robert King, the Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, stated that they expect to see interest in their reed relay products for instrumentation and ATE at electronica China. This interest is expected to come from a variety of sectors and applications, such as mixed-signal semiconductor testing, signal switching in medical electronics, EV charging, solar cell monitoring, and high voltage instrumentation.
Designed for testing mixed signal semiconductors, Pickering's Series 144 consists of single-in-line reed relays that can handle higher power levels compared to traditional dry SIL reed relays. While standard dry relays are usually rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, the Series 144 reed relays can handle up to 2 Amps of switching current, delivering power of up to 60 Watts or 1 Amp for up to 80 Watts, with a continuous carry current of up to 3 Amps. They also have high-voltage capabilities, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and up to 3kV stand-off. The Series 144 is Pickering's smallest miniature SIP reed relay with a power rating of up to 80 Watts. It is able to switch higher power while still maintaining exceptional low-level performance, making it a great choice for applications that require both high-power and low-level switching capabilities. Additionally, it can be used as an alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to its outstanding low-level performance and high isolation advantages.
Pickering offers a wide variety of high-quality reed relays that are perfect for a range of uses, such as testing mixed-signal semiconductor devices, in-circuit testing equipment, advanced cable testers, backplane testers, electric vehicles, medical devices, solar energy systems, large-scale physics experiments, and high-voltage instrumentation.
During electronica China 2024, Pickering Group will present their modular signal switching and sensor simulation technologies for electronic testing and verification. These technologies come from Pickering Interfaces, their division specializing in switching and simulation, as well as cables and connectors from their interconnect division, Pickering Connect.
