Pickering Electronics to Showcase New High Power Reed Relays at electronica China 2024 Booth #E7-7838
Pickering Electronics will be showcasing their latest high power reed relays at electronica China in Shanghai from July 8th-10th, 2024. Make sure to stop by booth #E7-7838 to learn more about their newest products.
Pickering Electronics, a top producer of high-performance reed relays, will be displaying their wide selection of reed relays designed for advanced instrumentation, ATE, and semiconductor testing at booth #E7-7838 at electronica China 2024. This event is part of Messe München's electronica series, which also includes shows in Munich and India, and will be held from July 8th to 10th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. The focus will be on showcasing their newest high-power reed relays, Series 144.
electronica China is a prominent trade fair in China focused on showcasing cutting-edge electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. Since its establishment in 2002, the event has drawn approximately 50,000 attendees and has connected them with more than 1,100 exhibitors within a 60,000 square meter exhibition space. The event also includes high-quality forums and support programs that feature the most recent market trends and technologies. With over 5,800 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors combined from electronica's global exhibition network in Munich, China, and India, the event offers numerous opportunities for businesses.
Robert King, the Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, mentioned that they are constantly enhancing their reed relay options for instrumentation and ATE. They expect to see interest from various industries and uses at electronica China, such as mixed-signal semiconductor testing, signal switching in medical electronics, EV charging, solar cell monitoring, and high voltage instrumentation.
Designed for testing mixed signal semiconductors, Pickering's Series 144 is a line of single-in-line reed relays that can handle higher power levels compared to traditional dry SIL reed relays. While standard dry relays are typically rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, the Series 144 reed relays offer increased capabilities. They can switch currents of up to 2 Amps, allowing for power delivery of up to 60 Watts or 1 Amp for up to 80 Watts, with a continuous carry current of up to 3 Amps. These relays also have high-voltage capabilities, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and up to 3kV stand-off. The Series 144 is Pickering's smallest miniature SIP reed relay with a power rating of up to 80 Watts. It excels in both high-power and low-level switching tasks, making it a great option for applications that require both capabilities. Additionally, it can be used as an alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to its low-level performance and high isolation advantages.
Pickering offers a wide variety of reliable reed relays that are suitable for a range of uses, such as testing mixed-signal semiconductor devices, in-circuit testing tools, advanced cable testers, backplane testers, electric vehicles, medical devices, solar power systems, large-scale physics experiments, and high voltage measurement devices.
Pickering Group will be presenting modular signal switching and sensor simulation technologies at electronica China 2024. These technologies are designed for electronic testing and verification and will be showcased by Pickering Interfaces, a division of Pickering Group. In addition, Pickering Group will also display cables and connectors from their interconnect division, Pickering Connect, at the event.
