Pickering Electronics Unveils New High-Power Reed Relays at electronica China 2024: Visit Booth #E7-7838 for the Latest Innovations
Check out the latest high power reed relays from Pickering Electronics at the electronica China 2024 exhibition. Stop by booth #E7-7838 to see them in person at the event in Shanghai from July 8th-10th, 2024.
Pickering Electronics, a top producer of high-quality reed relays, will be presenting its full selection of reed relays designed for advanced instrumentation, ATE (automated test equipment), and semiconductor testing at booth #E7-7838 during electronica China 2024. The event is part of Messe München's electronica series, which also includes shows in Munich and India, and will be held from July 8th to 10th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. Among the products showcased will be the latest high-power reed relays in the Series 144.
electronica China is the top trade fair in China for cutting-edge electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. Since its establishment in 2002, the event has drawn approximately 50,000 attendees and facilitated connections with more than 1,100 exhibitors in a 60,000 square meter exhibition area. electronica China includes high-quality forums and supplementary programs that showcase the most recent market developments and technologies. With a total of 5,800 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors participating in electronica's global exhibition network in Munich, China, and India, there are ample opportunities for business growth.
Robert King, Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, mentioned that they expect interest in their reed relay products for instrumentation and ATE at electronica China from a variety of sectors and applications. These may include mixed-signal semiconductor testing, signal switching in medical electronics, EV charging, solar cell monitoring, and high voltage instrumentation.
Designed for testing mixed signal semiconductors, Pickering's Series 144 is a line of single-in-line reed relays that can handle higher power levels compared to traditional dry SIL reed relays. While standard dry relays are usually rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, the Series 144 reed relays can switch currents of up to 2 Amps, deliver power of up to 60 Watts or 80 Watts at 1 Amp, and carry a continuous current of up to 3 Amps. They also have high-voltage capabilities, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and stand-off of up to 3kV. The Series 144 is Pickering's smallest miniature SIP reed relay, offering a power rating of up to 80 Watts. It is able to efficiently switch high power while maintaining exceptional low-level performance, making it a great choice for applications requiring both high-power and low-level switching capabilities. Additionally, it can be used as an alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to its excellent low-level performance and high isolation advantages.
Pickering offers a wide selection of efficient reed relays that are suitable for various uses such as testing semiconductor devices, circuit boards, cables, electric vehicles, medical equipment, solar power systems, scientific research, and high voltage measurement tools.
Pickering Group will be presenting their modular signal switching and sensor simulation technologies for electronic testing and verification at electronica China 2024. These technologies will be showcased by their divisions, Pickering Interfaces and Pickering Connect, which also offer cables and connectors.
