Pickering Electronics to Showcase New High-Power Reed Relays at electronica China 2024
Check out the latest high power reed relays from Pickering Electronics at the electronica China exhibition in Shanghai from July 8th-10th, 2024. Stop by booth #E7-7838 to see them in person.
Pickering Electronics, a top producer of high-quality reed relays, will be presenting its wide selection of reed relays designed for advanced instrumentation, ATE, and semiconductor testing at booth #E7-7838 at electronica China 2024. This event is part of Messe München's electronica series, which also includes shows in Munich and India. The exhibition will be held from July 8th to 10th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. Additionally, Pickering Electronics will be showcasing their newest high-power reed relays, Series 144, at the event.
electronica China is the top trade fair in China for new electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. Established in 2002, the event brings in about 50,000 attendees who can interact with over 1,100 exhibitors in a 60,000 square meter exhibition area. electronica China also includes high-quality forums and programs that showcase the most recent market trends and technologies. With a total of over 5,800 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors, electronica's global exhibition network in Munich, China, and India offers numerous opportunities for businesses.
Robert King, the Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, mentioned that they expect interest in their reed relay products for instrumentation and ATE at the electronica China event. This includes various sectors and applications such as mixed-signal semiconductor testing, signal switching in medical electronics, EV charging, solar cell monitoring, and high voltage instrumentation.
Pickering's Series 144 reed relays are perfect for testing mixed signal semiconductors. These relays are designed to handle higher power levels compared to traditional dry SIL reed relays. While standard dry relays are typically rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, Series 144 reed relays can switch currents up to 2 Amps, delivering power of up to 60 Watts or 1 Amp for up to 80 Watts, with a continuous carry current of up to 3 Amps. They also have high-voltage capabilities, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and up to 3kV stand-off. Series 144 is Pickering's smallest miniature SIP reed relay with a power rating of up to 80 Watts. These relays provide high-power switching along with excellent low-level performance, making them a great choice for applications requiring both high-power and low-level switching capabilities. They are a good alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to their exceptional low-level performance and high isolation.
Pickering offers a wide selection of high-quality reed relays that are suitable for various uses such as testing semiconductor devices, in-circuit testing, cable testing, backplane testing, electric vehicles, medical equipment, solar power applications, scientific research, and high voltage measurement devices.
Pickering Group will be presenting their modular signal switching and sensor simulation technologies at electronica China 2024. These technologies are used for electronic testing and validation, and they will be displayed by Pickering Interfaces, a division of the company. Additionally, Pickering Connect, another division of the company, will be showcasing their cables and connectors at the event.
