Pickering Electronics Unveils New High Power Reed Relays at electronica China 2024: A Must-Visit Booth at the Leading Trade Fair in Shanghai
Check out the latest high power reed relays from Pickering Electronics at electronica China 2024. Stop by booth #E7-7838 in Shanghai from July 8th-10th, 2024 to see them in person.
Pickering Electronics, a top reed relay manufacturer, will be exhibiting its wide selection of reed relays designed for advanced instrumentation, ATE, and semiconductor testing at booth #E7-7838 during the electronica China 2024 event. This event, part of Messe München's electronica series which also includes shows in Munich and India, will be held from July 8th-10th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China. Among the products showcased will be their latest high-power reed relays in the Series 144.
electronica China is the top trade fair in China for cutting-edge electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. Started in 2002, the event draws about 50,000 attendees and links them with more than 1,100 exhibitors in an exhibition space of 60,000 square meters. electronica China also includes high-quality forums and programs that showcase the most recent market trends and technologies. With over 5,800 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors participating in electronica's worldwide exhibition network in Munich, China, and India, there are ample opportunities for businesses to thrive.
Robert King, who is the Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, expects a lot of interest in their reed relay products at the electronica China event. These products are used in various sectors and applications such as mixed-signal semiconductor testing, signal switching in medical electronics, EV charging, solar cell monitoring, and high voltage instrumentation.
Designed for testing mixed signal semiconductors, Pickering's Series 144 consists of single-in-line reed relays that can handle higher power levels compared to traditional dry SIL reed relays. While standard dry relays are typically rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, the Series 144 reed relays can switch currents of up to 2 Amps, delivering power of up to 60 Watts or handling 1 Amp for up to 80 Watts, with a continuous carry current of up to 3 Amps. These relays also have high-voltage capabilities, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and up to 3kV stand-off. The Series 144 is Pickering's smallest miniature SIP reed relay, offering a power rating of up to 80 Watts. It is able to switch high power effectively while also providing excellent performance at low levels, making it suitable for applications that require both high-power and low-level switching. These relays can serve as a good alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to their outstanding low-level performance and high isolation advantages.
Pickering offers a wide selection of reed relays that are highly efficient and suitable for various uses such as testing semiconductor devices, in-circuit testing tools, cable testers, backplane testers, electric vehicles, medical devices, solar energy systems, large-scale physics experiments, and high voltage measuring instruments.
During electronica China 2024, Pickering Group will present signal switching and sensor simulation technologies for electronic testing and verification. These technologies are offered by Pickering Interfaces, along with cables and connectors from Pickering Connect.
