Pickering Electronics to Showcase New High Power Reed Relays at electronica China 2024 Booth #E7-7838
Check out Pickering Electronics' latest high power reed relays at the electronica China exhibition in Shanghai from July 8th to 10th, 2024. Head over to booth #E7-7838 to see their newest products.
Pickering Electronics, a top producer of high-performance reed relays, will be exhibiting their wide selection of reed relays designed for advanced instrumentation, ATE, and semiconductor testing at booth #E7-7838 at electronica China 2024. The event, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China from July 8th-10th, is part of Messe München's electronica series, which also includes events in Munich and India. Pickering Electronics will be showcasing their latest high-power reed relays, Series 144, at the exhibition.
electronica China is the top trade show in China for new electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. Established in 2002, the event brings in approximately 50,000 attendees and links them with over 1,100 exhibitors in a 60,000 square meter exhibition space. electronica China includes high-quality forums and support programs that showcase the most recent market trends and technologies. With a total of over 5,800 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors at electronica's global exhibitions in Munich, China, and India, there are plenty of opportunities available for your business.
Robert King, Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, mentioned that they expect a lot of interest in their reed relay products for instrumentation and ATE at electronica China. This interest is expected from a variety of industries and applications, such as mixed-signal semiconductor testing, signal switching in medical electronics, EV charging, solar cell monitoring, and high voltage instrumentation.
Designed specifically for testing mixed signal semiconductors, Pickering's Series 144 is a line of single-in-line reed relays that can handle higher power levels than traditional dry SIL reed relays. While standard dry relays are typically rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, the Series 144 reed relays offer much higher capabilities. They can switch currents of up to 2 Amps, deliver power of up to 60 Watts, or 1 Amp for up to 80 Watts, and carry a continuous current of up to 3 Amps. Additionally, these relays have a high-voltage capacity, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and up to 3kV stand-off. The Series 144 is Pickering's smallest miniature SIP reed relay with a power rating of up to 80 Watts. It excels in both high-power and low-level switching, making it a great choice for applications that require both capabilities. These relays are a good alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) because of their excellent low-level performance and high isolation benefits.
Pickering offers a wide selection of top-performing reed relays that are well-suited for various uses such as testing semiconductor devices that process both analog and digital signals, equipment used in testing electronic circuits while they are still connected to a board, advanced cable testing tools, testers for backplane connections, electric vehicles, medical devices, solar power applications, large-scale physics experiments, and instruments that measure high voltages.
Pickering Group will be exhibiting at electronica China 2024, featuring modular signal switching and sensor simulation technologies for electronic testing and validation from their divisions Pickering Interfaces and Pickering Connect. The showcase will also include cables and connectors.
