Pickering Electronics to Showcase New High-Power Reed Relays at electronica China 2024 booth #E7-7838

Pickering Electronics will be showcasing their latest high-power reed relays at electronica China 2024. You can find them at booth #E7-7838 in Shanghai from July 8th to 10th, 2024.

Pickering Electronics, a top producer of high-performance reed relays, will be exhibiting their wide selection of reed relays designed for advanced instrumentation, ATE, and semiconductor testing at booth #E7-7838 at electronica China 2024. This event, part of Messe München's electronica series, will be held from July 8th to 10th at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in China. The spotlight will be on their latest high-power reed relays, Series 144.

electronica China is the top trade show in China for new electronic components, systems, applications, and solutions. Since its establishment in 2002, the event has drawn in approximately 50,000 attendees and linked them with more than 1,100 exhibitors spanning 60,000 square meters of exhibition space. electronica China also includes high-quality forums and programs that showcase the most recent market trends and technologies. With a total of over 5,800 exhibitors and 200,000 visitors participating in electronica's global exhibition network in Munich, China, and India, businesses have plenty of opportunities for networking and growth.

Robert King, the Product Development Manager at Pickering Electronics, mentioned that they are continuously enhancing their reed relay products for instrumentation and ATE. They expect a lot of interest from various industries and applications at electronica China, such as mixed-signal semiconductor testing, signal switching in medical electronics, EV charging, solar cell monitoring, and high voltage instrumentation.

Designed for testing mixed signal semiconductors, Pickering's Series 144 consists of single-in-line reed relays that can handle power levels higher than traditional dry SIL reed relays. While standard dry relays are typically rated at 0.5 amps at 10 Watts, the Series 144 reed relays offer much higher capabilities. They have a switching current of up to 2 Amps, allowing for power delivery of up to 60 Watts, or 1 Amp for up to 80 Watts, and a continuous carry current of up to 3 Amps. These relays also have high-voltage capability, with a switching voltage of 1000VDC up to 10W and up to 3kV stand-off. The Series 144 is Pickering's smallest miniature SIP reed relay with a power rating of up to 80 Watts. It excels in both high-power and low-level switching, making it a great choice for applications that require both capabilities. Additionally, it can be used as an alternative to mercury wetted reed relays or miniature electromechanical relays (EMRs) due to its exceptional low-level performance and high isolation benefits.

Pickering offers a wide variety of high-quality reed relays that are perfect for a range of uses, such as semiconductor testing, in-circuit testing, cable testing, EVs, medical devices, solar power, scientific research, and high voltage equipment.

During electronica China 2024, Pickering Group will exhibit signal switching and sensor simulation technologies for electronic testing and verification from their division Pickering Interfaces, along with cables and connectors from their division Pickering Connect.
